If I could say it in a sentence I would, but instead I work with paint and ink to make things with depth that I can stand inside of and look back out of at all of you and sometimes I just want to paint something beautiful and that’s okay too.

I had a friend say my ink paintings were of liminal spaces once - I think that’s the closest anyone has come to finding the right word for what I’m trying to do. Liminal. In-between and just trying to be.
